YBHG. DATO' ANWARRUDIN BIN AHAMAD OSMAN, aged 64, was appointed to the Board of UEM Builders Berhad on 20 November 2001 and is a member of the Board’s Remuneration Committee and Projects Review Committee.

He is currently the Executive Chairman of Technic Dataworks (M) Sdn Bhd. Dato’ Anwarrudin served in the Ministry of Defence for 10 years before joining Petronas in 1975 where he served in various capacities and was appointed Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Petronas Dagangan Berhad in 1992 until his retirement in 1998.

He has extensive experience in contract negotiations, development of tenders and contract matters, corporate planning, human resource management and international marketing. Dato’ Anwarrudin holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University Malaya.

He is currently also a Director of KKB Engineering Berhad, Fraser and Neave Holdings Berhad and a few private limited companies.
